The Sub-Junior National Championships are conducted every year to encourage and develop badminton
talent among players under the age of 15 and 17. The tournament follows the official rules and
structure of the Badminton Association of India (BAI) and Badminton World Federation (BWF).
The event not only tests a player’s agility, focus, and technique but also helps instill
discipline, teamwork, and a love for the sport from an early age. It’s the first step in the
journey from a young learner to a professional athlete.
To identify and nurture young badminton talent across India.
To provide early exposure to structured and competitive badminton.

The Sub-Junior (U–15 & U–17) National Championships are crucial in shaping the next generation of
badminton players. Many of India’s celebrated shuttlers — including national and international
champions — began their journey at this very level.
This championship lays the foundation for a career in professional badminton, helping young
players understand the value of hard work, focus, and perseverance. It also helps parents and
coaches identify a child’s potential early, ensuring they receive the right training and
support.
We are committed to nurturing young talent with the best facilities, qualified coaches, and a safe, encouraging environment. By organizing the Sub-Junior Nationals, our organization continues to promote grassroots badminton development across India and inspire children to chase their dreams with confidence.
